RULES AND POLICIES
Checkin will be done verifying players to player passes. CR should introduce self to coach. Coin Flip/Captains. Player passes are kept during the game. In the event of a red card for a coach or player, their player card needs to be kept and turned into the tournament director. Contact Art by text. CR should retrieve scoresheets from orange field box-please print first name of ARs. After game, make eye contact with coach and thank, inform of score, return player passes and place completed scoresheet in orange field box.
BUILD OUTLINE: NO BUILD OUTLINE
HEADING RESTRICTIONS – At age groups U11 and younger, deliberate heading will result in an indirect free kick for the opposing team from the spot of the offense. If the infraction occurs in the goal box, the free kick will be taken from the nearest edge of the box parallel to the goal line. U11/U12 age bracket will allow heading.
SUBSTITUTIONS - Substitution may be made only with the Referee’s permission at the following times:
a. Prior to a throw-in by your team or if both teams are waiting to substitute both teams will be allowed to substitute at the same time.
b. Prior to a goal kick by either team.
c. After a goal by either team.
d. At half time or the beginning of overtime periods.
e. After an injury, by either team, when the referee stops play. Substitutes may enter field of play only after receiving permission from the referee. 
DURATION OF THE GAME - the duration of games will be as follows:
U9-U10 (7v7) 2 x 25 = 50 mins 
U10-U12 (9v9) 2 x 30 = 60 mins 
U12-U16 (11v11) 2 x 30 = 60 mins 
U17-U19 (11v11) 2 x 35 = 70 mins
OVERTIME –There will be no overtime periods in pool play or the knock-out stages. Penalty kicks will be used to decide the outcome of semifinal and final games only; pool play games will end as the score is recorded at the end of regulation time.
Sporting LS Rec Tournament
October 10-12, 2025
 
The season ending Rec tournament will be May 10th and 11th. Games will be scheduled from 8am to dark. There will be a full schedule of 3v3 games on Saturday only, but all other ages play both days and there is a need for lots of referees on Sunday. If weather cancels, games will be played the weekend of May 17 and 18th.

Arrowhead
Entry:
- Everyone will enter through the Tower Gate West entrance!
- There will be a Playbook check-in desk for athletes, spectators, and refs.
- Gates will open at 8:30 AM, 30 minutes before the event starts.
- All vehicles will be able to park in LOT E & LOT F, which is reserved for this Playbook event.
- Parking in the lot is free of charge.
- Lot E is located closer to the entrance while Lot F is further but more ADA accessible.
- Both Lots are located at the corner of Arrowhead Dr. and Lancer.
- NO alcohol, grilling, or table set ups (tailgating) are allowed in either lot and will be strictly enforced.
- NO food or snacks will be permitted.
- The stadium will have concessions OPEN. The concessions are run by Arrowhead and their staff.
- Water will be fine to bring in for players, refs
- The stadium does not have any specific requirement in terms of bags allowed inside, but ALL BAGS will be scanned upon entry.
Game Information: 
There will be 4 fields with games every hour. 
Games will run 25 min halves with a 2 min half time. 
Games will be reffed by a 2 man system. 
No build outline, No sliding, No heading unless middle school and up.
Same rules as outdoor unless noted.
