Competitive Program
Competitive Overview:
A SLS Competitive coach is an unpaid coach and must pass a background check. A SLS competitive coach will participate in SLS tryouts to fill a team’s roster. SLS coaches are volunteers. We are only able to offer competitive opportunities to players who are in an age group that has a volunteer coach.
The competitive teams compete in the Heartland Soccer League, with games scheduled at various locations throughout the Metro: Legacy Park, Overland Park Soccer Complex, Swope Park, Wyandotte Sporting Fields, or Heritage Park.
Registration for a competitive team is offered only to players who have been offered a spot on a competitive team. Links for registering as a player and for ordering uniforms will be provided once the competitive coach has presented his final roster to our administrative team. Players looking for a team can attend Tryouts in June.
